The Dorset School

5th and 6th graders from The Dorset School took classroom concepts outdoors with an Enrichment Experience on the beautiful Equinox Preserve Trail system, on Friday September 22nd. Katherine Monahan and Karli Love (5th and 6th grade teachers), took their students on a hike to Robin's Lookout, and Equinox Pond. Students were able to make classroom connections by exploring concepts related to ecosystems, geography, and human impact on the environment. The students were energized, inquisitive, and engaged during the experience. Encountering Lion's Mane, great blue herons, and beautiful surroundings, provided students with many memories that go beyond the classroom.
